The science

Evidence-aware, not evidence-decorated.

We separate established findings about music listening from promising—but still developing—ideas about auditory beats and brainwave entrainment.

What research supports

Music can be a useful support.

Systematic reviews suggest music listening may improve subjective sleep quality and reduce stress or anxiety in some settings.

That supports designing thoughtfully. It does not prove that one Dastgah, instrument or frequency produces a guaranteed clinical result.

Where evidence is developing

Brainwave labels need context.

Delta, theta, alpha, beta and gamma describe frequency bands observed in brain activity. Listening to a “4 Hz” track does not simply place every brain into a precise state.

Our design choices

What we actually control.

  • Tempo and perceived pulse
  • Melodic density and predictability
  • Dynamics, brightness and reverb
  • Continuity, duration and repetition
Responsible listening

Your response is individual.

Use a comfortable volume. Stop if a track feels activating or uncomfortable. Music should not replace care from a qualified professional.
